Description of the problem | This is an intermittent problem. The car rpm's go up , but the car is not accelerating in the manner in which it should when traveling 35 miles owe hour. When this happened today the number 2 was displayed near the d (drive) icon on the dash. The car also makes a loud thumping noise( coming from the front of the car) on occasion when going about 35 miles per hour. I have 28k miles on the vehicle and an extended 7 year warranty. I took it to the dealership-stevens creek chrysler . They said they could not recreate the problem and charged me $200. This issue has happened 4 times before i took it to the dealership and one time after it was in the dealership last week. The vehicle was at the dealership on may 24, 2018. |
