Description of the problem | "takata recall". To begin, my car wouldn't accelerate, i'd be driving and it would hesitate then take off reallty hard as to even jerk. Did this a couple of times before i took it in to the dealership, one place told me it was nothing wrong, took it to another dealership because it kept stalling as i was on the highway and they said it was an electrical issue. Then another issue occurred with the dash illuminating telling me my airbags alert displaying on my dash (2x)took it back to dealership, though they kept it for a week, they said it was because someone kicked the wiring loose under my passenger seat. No one has ever sat in my back seat. Now my car is in the shop because at first the malfunction light illuminated, drove my car to work, returned to my car and it wouldn't start, had roadside jumpstart it, and it started, went back out later and it wouldn't start, as i tried to get out, my dash lit up and i had to push the button for it to turn off, as i'm walking away, my car literally tries to accelerate on its own, as if i hit my remote start. Had it taken into the dealership. They diagnosed my car as having a faulty climate control module ( first off, i drive 17 miles to and from work everyday, my climate control has been beyond functional, i literally have to turn it off because it gets so cold in my car) and they also said my car stalled because of a bad battery, and said the burning i smelled on the passenger door was a faulty wire and thats why its not functioning properly, which they're repairing, but charging me for it. I have had so many issues with this car since i purchased it. When i'm driving and turn the wheel to the left, it sounds like something is going to break, also my breaks will lock up on me if it's raining and i'll slide ( really)?? This car has been nothing less then a lemon. |
