Description of the problem | After reaching 75,000 miles, my car started to stall and turn off by itself while driving. I performed an oil change, made sure all the maintenance was up to date, etc. It has a new battery less than a year old, new tires, etc. Eventually it stalled and shut off on its own while stopped and would not turn back on. Every time i try to turn it back on, it stalls and shuts off but the shifter lights blink repeatedly. I have a code that appeared on a mechanic's code reader which was u1504. He could not diagnose it. Chrysler would not look at it and wanted $125 just to do diagnostics. I just wanted to know if this was one of the recalled issues as i know they have been having engine and transmission issues. |
