Description of the problem | Takata recall for about a week now my "service airbag system" light has been coming on and off inconsistently. It first came on on 5/15/2019. This was when i was driving about 30 mph. After i turned my vehicle off and turned it back on the light did not return. Now the light has been popping up every now and then, usually when i slow down or stop my car completely. I do not have any passengers that drive in my vehicle, only little ones that ride in the back seat. I do not have items that sit in the front passenger seat either. After researching there was a airbag recall on prior models not sure if this could be related. Since the first incident now every time i drive my car (which has been almost every day since) the light has been on. Please advise |
