Description of the problem | Since about 20,000 miles my car has smelled of anti-freeze. The first time i took it in, gene's chrysler said my cabin air filter was flooded with coolant and that my radiator was leaking at the seams. This was changed at 36,000 (march 2018) miles. After they replaced the radiator, i still smelled it and was told that it was "spray" that was left over from when it was originally broken. At 57,000 miles (jan 2019) i still smell it. I had to take my car back to gene's for an ambient temp sensor and they noticed my radiator is leaking, again, and replaced it. Now, keep in mind, i am not leaving coolant puddles anywhere nor is my temp sensor for the coolant reporting anything than what is normal. I am again smelling anti-freeze. Gene's again tells me that it's just from the spray. |
