Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2016 chrysler 200. The contact stated while driving 70 mph, the vehicle loss motive power with the accelerator pedal depressed. The service transmission soon warning light was illuminated. The contact activated the hazard light on and coasted to the shoulder of the roadway. The vehicle was turned off and restarted but failed to resume normal operation. After waiting for several hours, the vehicle was restarted and operated as designed. The vehicle was taken to the dealer griffin's hub chrysler jeep dodge ram (5700 s 27th st, milwaukee, wi 53221, 414) 253-3878) several times for software updates to the tcm. Additionally, the battery was replaced. The failure recurred intermittently. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure however, no further assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 81,000. |
