Description of the problem | Our 2017 chrysler pacifica has been jerking into gear and won't accelerate and then after a few moments, it does. The jerking feels as if someone just hit you from behind and you stall before being able to accelerate. This always happened while in motion flat road, incline, or down hill. When we called the dealership and took it in and informed them of the issue, they said they didn't see a problem. Now, we have an unknown message that says "service shifter". This came after the van was sitting and we got in to start the vehicle. It wouldn't start. Had to wait for a tow. The power windows, doors, hatch won't work but the radio and communications systems work fine. |
