Description of the problem | On multiple ocasions, the engine shutoff feature shut off just as i was trying to turn left on a busy street. This caused the vehicle to pull about ten feet into traffic and then it stalles for an unsafely long delay before the vehicle would get out of traffic. It is a problem when is decides to shut the engine off just as i decide to turn left. It causes the vehicle to stall and then lurch as it tried to come back on. I usually remember to shut this feature off but it always comes back on every time you restart the vehicle. Ken garf chystler dealership was unable to have this feature turned off by default. This is a dangerous engine shutoff feature intended to save some fuel. I don't care how much fuel it saves if it causes an accident! The ai for this needs refinement and it needs to be disabled when left turn signal is engaged so this doesn't happen. |
