Description of the problemMy transmission jerks hard when shifting between 1st and 2nd and 2nd and 3rd gear. This happens at a slow speed around 15 mph. It feels like i have been rear ended by another vehicle. It then will lurch forward like i hit the gas pedal. One of the times i was out of town. When the transmission jerked it would not change to a higher gear. I had to park the car, cut off the motor for and hour, and then was able to drive the rest of the way home. The dealer has refreshed the computer and did a recall, but it still is not fixed. I have had it to the dealer 3 times. They say nothing can be done unless they can duplicate the problem. One time the service engine light actually came on for several hours but was off when i started the car the next morning.. On 10 may 2018 i was told by the service advisor that the new cars have a mind of their own and learn the drivers driving habits. So i felt like they were blaming it on me. How stupid is that comment?
