Description of the problem | While accelerating at low speeds (15-20mph), vehicle will shift very hard, making it feel like i've been rear-ended, and causing the vehicle to lurch forward. Immediately afterward, i cannot accelerate. It feels like the transmission is out of gear, or is trying to find the correct gear. Then, suddenly, it will pop into gear and return to normal. This has happened possibly 75 to 100 times. The vehicle has almost 50,000 (fifty-thousand) miles on the odometer. My concern is that the vehicle will lurch forward into a car in front of me, or that i will be attempting to accelerate to match traffic speed, and will be unable to do so. |
