Description of the problem | When making a slow turn (15 mph) the transmission first lurched then banged into next gear. The front wheels slipped and lost traction sending the car out of the pavement. I was able to regain control. Then when merging into the highway the transmission failed to reach higher gears leaving us running at just 30 mph and almost being rear ended several times just then the engine light came on. It is the 3rd time this transmission issue has happened. Chrysler replaced the transmission body valve the first time, the second time the whole transmission was replaced both times it took about 30 days to perform the repair. |
