Internal NHTSA # | 11119841 |
Manufacurer | Chrysler (FCA US LLC) |
Brand | CHRYSLER |
Model | PACIFICA |
Model Year | 2017 |
File date | 27/10/16 |
Component | VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL |
Product type code | VEHICLE |
Description of the problem | The cruise control is not maintaining a fixed speed on downhills and that causes the vehicle to highly accelerate to a deficit speed of around 20 mph more than the fixed speed selected. This could lead to deadly accidents and need to be fixed as soon as possible by a tag of safety alert. This is happening to me since i purchased the car and i went to dealership to tell them about it, but they didn't like to listen and/or to escalate the issue to manufacturer. Nhtsa is my last resort to report this. |
