Description of the problem | The start/stop fuel economy system does not work. I have taken it to the shop 3 times to get this repaired. Once to have them identify the problem, then order replacement battery. Twice a new battery has been installed and the system still does not work. I have approximately 3000 miles on this vehicle and it has never worked after the initial test drive. The dash board gives various reasons why it can't work but none of these conditions or situations but none seem related to actual, current operation of the car: engine is not warmed up or the steering wheel turned to sharply. I purchased the vehicle with 60 miles on the odometer in august 2018. |
