Description of the problem | Driving car down highway car at approximately 55-60 accelerates does a 180 and continues down the highway in reverse at 60-70 miles per hour for approximately 1/2 mile before being stopped by running in to ditch. I has 2 hands on the wheel at all times thank god nothing stopped the car from going into reverse and not sure how transmission was able to go into reverse without depressing brake or touching shift lever. There were barriers on both sides and no shoulder the car did the 180 without crashing into barriers i was in left lane going forward after 180 was in left lane going in reverse car was going pretty straight in reverse knew i had to stop car but not too fast knew was going to hit something because road does not have many straight point as i slowed the car the back end slid down hill off side of road the car did not slow down. |
