Description of the problem | Last year i started to hear a banging sound from the rear of the car. Brought it to a mechanic (carmax) and was told to bring it to the dealer because they were unsure. So i brought it to the dealer and they said i had a nail in my tire so i went and got it fixed. The sound still happening i went back, this time they recommended changing the reinforcement tunnel. After that the sound was still there and they recommended changing the rear shocks, did that and sounds still there. They told me there is nothing visible that is wrong so everything is fine. If everything is fine why the sound. It has been a year and it is just annoying and scary to constantly hear that banging noise. It only happens at low speeds and it happens while driving forward and in reverse. |
