Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2013 dodge dart. While driving 35 mph, the vehicle shifted independently into neutral. The service engine and check transmission warning indicators illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the transmission control module malfunctioned and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred four times. The contact received a recall notification of nhtsa campaign number: 15v542000 (power train); however, the parts to do the repair were not available. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 45,000.
