Description of the problem | I was driving my 2013 dodge dart on the highway when all of a sudden it would not go over 45 mph. This has happened before 3 weeks prior, but after turning the car off and back on it went away. I made it to my house pulled into my driveway and went to put it into park, but the gear shift would not go into gear. The key is now stuck in the ignition. I tried disconnecting the battery, but that did nothing. Also the service engine light has constantly been coming on periodically since i've bought the car in 2013. Yet the dealership and 2 other mechanics have never given me a reason why. I called the dealership and they wanted $150 to hook it up to a diagnostic. I do not have it so i'm still trying to figure out what to do. |
