Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2013 dodge dart. While traveling 70 mph, the vehicle jerked and lost acceleration. In addition, the message "gear shift not available, shift to neutral, engage in reverse" appeared on the message center. Afterwards, the vehicle operated normally. The contact stated that the failure started approximately two weeks ago and was getting worse. The contact received a recall notification for nhtsa campaign number: 19v293000 (power train). Garavel jeep/chrysler/dodge (300 westport ave, norwalk, ct 06851) confirmed that parts were not available to perform the recall repairs. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure.
