Description of the problem | 1998 dodge durango (purchased new) drivers power seat slides up to 1+ inches backward and forward when applying brakes or accelerating. Problem began several years ago, thought it was an isolated issue to my vehicle, however, upon reviewing other owners' online comments it appears that there may be hundreds or more with this serious safety defect. When driving, if you do not hold onto the steering wheel 'tightly' you slide 'back and forth' to the point of it affecting both braking and acceleration control of the vehicle. This is only one of many website locations that has been describing this serious problem since year 2002 or before. Http://www. Carsurvey. Org/reviews/dodge/durango/r33777/comments/. |
