Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2011 dodge durango. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the check engine light illuminate and the instrument panel gauges would flicker off and on before the vehicle stalled. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who diagnosed that the alternator was faulty. The alternator was replaced and the failure was remedied. In feb 2014 while driving approximately 55 mph, the vehicle suddenly stalled. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who diagnosed that the head cylinder and gasket was faulty and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired and the failure was remedied. In oct 2013 the contact indicated that after starting the engine the vehicle would suddenly stall. The manufacturer was notified of the failures but no assistance was offered. The vin was not available. The failure mileage was 63,167. |
