Description of the problemThis used vehicle (no full factory warranty) was purchased at a local dodge dealer in the south houston, texas area on tuesday august 26, 2014 with 39,332 miles on it. The drive home was about 96 miles +-. The next morning wednesday august 27, 2014 i went out to the 2011 dodge durango citadel i just purchased and when i attempted to start the durango, the starter just cranked & cranked with no starting, so the start button had to be pushed to stop the cranking so the starter would not burn up. This is one of the known problem with the ticm (totally integrated power module) that chrysler is aware of, and it is known that the engine could possible shut down while driving. Chrysler/dodge must be required to have a recall before someone get killed. It is also believed that the dealer knew fully well that the problem existed when they sold me the car, as they had the vehicle for about 7-9 day's before listing it for sale.
