Description of the problem | The fuel pump started running while the car was turned off. The following morning the battery had been completely drained. The battery was replaced. In the span of two weeks following having the battery replaced, the fuel pump would run with the vehicle turned off intermittently. The car alarm would randomly go off. The vehicle would be difficult to start. It would take several attempts to get it to turn over. Took it to the dealer for service. It took a couple of days to diagnose that problems were caused by a faulty tipm. The cost to replace the tipm and reprogram it was $1350. |
