Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2011 dodge durango. The contact stated that the vehicle experienced a complete loss of power and would not shift into neutral in order to be moved. The vehicle was towed to the river oaks chrysler dodge jeep ram dealer (4807 kirby dr, houston, tx) where it was diagnosed that the alternator and battery were defective and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. Two weeks later, the contact received notification of nhtsa campaign number: 17v435000(electrical system); however, the parts to do the repair were unavailable. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue and was able to confirm when the parts would become available in december. The contact was informed that she would not be reimbursed for the previous repair. The failure mileage was approximately 60,000. |
