Description of the problem	My durango started having problems starting. The starter would continue but the vehicle wouldn't start. This started around october 1st, 2014. After a couple of weeks the problem started getting worse and then after starting it would shut off. After several attempts at this the vehicle would run. The problem has been getting worse every day. On 11-3-14 i received a recall notice for the tipm. I called my dodge dealer and was advised that there is nothing that they could do for me at this time as the parts don't exist. I then called the chrysler group recall assistance center. They told me to take it to another dealer or to an independent dealer and have it fixed at my own expense. I could send them the receipts to be reimbursed. I again called my dodge dealer who said that they could replace the tipm, which would cost over $1,000 out of my pocket. That was the only recourse they had for the time being. I don't think that it is fair at all that chrysler wants me to pay over $1,000 out of my own pocket to fix their problem and wait to be reimbursed, which will take over 60 days or even at all.
