Description of the problem	Vehicle accelerated without driver input, including going up a hill without driver pressing accelerator. Engine redlined while stopped at a traffic light without driver input. Vehicle put into neutral, but engine revving would not decrease, and then driver put vehicle into park which continued to rev at high rpms, but vehicle would then not shift out of park. Vehicle was turned off and then back on after 45 to 60 seconds, but vehicle continued to rev engine at high rpms and showed that vehicle was in 8th gear. Approximately 30 minutes later, vehicle would not turn on. Tried to turn vehicle on and it would turn itself off without trying to start.
