Description of the problem | The vehicle put itself in reverse after putting it in park. The incident happened twice, once at home in the driveway and another in a target parking lot. I noticed the vehicle started to move after removing my foot from the brake and was able to avoid and incident. My children play outside in the driveway which makes this a dangerous situation if i am not able to stop the vehicle in time. I have taken this to a dealership and the tech saw the truck jump into gear while it was sitting idle but since the "flight recorder" was not hooked up, they decided not to do anything about it after it could not be duplicated again. The dealer then denied my second request to look at the vehicle because of the "loaner vehicle policy". This vehicle has a manufacturer buyback also that was not disclosed to me on the date of purchase. |
