Description of the problem | While on a road trip in cold weather, my car's main control center screen blacked out. It had the phrase "please insert updated usb". I googled this issue. Many people said they had a usb stick to put in and it worked. I bought my car new and it did not come with a stick. I took the car to the dealership to get an update. They said it would be $45. Instead they are telling me it didn't work and i need a whole new radio at $335 plus install. So because of a radio update my day trip was ruined, because my heat and air was not working! After googling this issue it seems to be a huge problem with dodge/jeeps. Why are they not taking care of this issue without the expense going onto the customer?!!! |
