Description of the problem | A police officer was backing into a parking spot when the driver side headrest popped open and struck him in the face. The headrest is designed to open on impacts to reduce whiplash and no collision had occurred nor was there any existing damage to warrant this device actuating. Chrysler was notified due to this expense not being covered under warranty and expressed no concern or culpability regarding this issue. |
