Description of the problem | Rear taillight assembly on the dodge durango has serious issues at a costly price. The left side of our taillight assembly has collected water and has short circuited the lower left portion of the lighting. You can actually see water pooled up in the lens. I have two neighbors that have had the exact same issue recently. Another neighbor was told he had to replace the entire assembly ($1k+) just because his left license plate light has gone out. I guess it is powered from the taillight assembly wiring harness. I have actually replaced that left rear license plate light 3 times in the last 18 months. Not cheap is $50 each. |
