Description of the problem | Water has infiltrated the rear liftgate racetrack led light on 2015 dodge durango. Portion of the light is out. Much information has been posted about this as a design flaw with dodge. Eventually the entire light fails as well as the license plate light and becomes a safety issue while operating at dusk or night as rear of vehicle is not illuminated. Dodge should issue a recall to have this replaced and sealed to prevent it from happening further. This problem has been well documented. To repair, owner is responsible to have light replaced at an exuberant cost. I believe dodge should repair at no cost as this is a safety issue. |
