Description of the problem	My vehicles entertainment system screen shuts down to the display showing dodge. It will stay there until it decides to restart. The only two items working are vehicle temperatures, air flow speed and shut off or turn on. Nothing else is available to select or operate with in the entertainment system. This includes the lost of uconnect if i was displaying maps for navigation. I have noticed a strange odor like a battery or wires over heat smell as i'm driving as this occurs. This is happening more frequently leaving me without the comforts we expect and paid for, not to mention the concern of is there a major issue going on? There are many forms on line stating this has been a reoccurring issue since 2016 pointing the blame between the fca and the uconnect pushing updates. I would like to see dodge fix their product. It does not matter if the vehicle is stationary, moving, on a city street, out on a county highway or interstate. Dealer states they no nothing about it. I asked them to research it. They state bring it in for a diagnostic. Dodge stop giving the consumer a run around and fix it. I assume that is why you have engineers this could be a hazard to the public. This is an on going issue
