Description of the problem | While at a stop light vehicle started rolling backwards after light turned green. Vehicle was in drive and was somehow not in gear. Had to place in park then back to drive several times before it finally got in gear. It did this several times throughout the day so had to get car towed. Took car to dealers and they could not find the problem. Suggested we replace the entire transmission for almost $5,000. The car only has 68,000 approximately. Car was purchased brand new in 2016. Still owe money on the vehicle and ended up taking the car to get the transmission rebuild elsewhere. |
