Description of the problem | Takata recall. This car is under recall for the passenger side airbag. I did not receive any notification and ford is unwilling to provide a loaner. They have no eta for the repair, but are guessing second quarter 2017. So we are supposed to drive this car until second quarter 2017 without using the passenger seat or sitting anything in the passenger seat?? Really? Ford should be providing free loaners and should have notified our family by mail!! Same airbag with a subaru we own and yet subaru notified us by mail and provided a free loaner. The ntsb should be more protective of consumers where ford is concerned. |
