Description of the problem | Takata recall we have a recall dated june 1, 2016 stating that the front airbag could rupture if the vehicle is involved in a crash, resulting in metal fragments striking occupants causing serious injury or possibly death. Today is september 27, 2016 and the issue is still not resolved, as we are awaiting parts. I contacted ford motor company today and was told there was not definitive date as to when the parts will become available. I am deeply concerned that it has taken four months and there is still no resolution. I was told to continue to drive the vehicle, although it has faulty airbags. Please let me know what can be done to expedite the repair of my car. |
