Description of the problem | "takata recall" - i received the legal notice for the takata airbag inflators chapter 11 bankruptcy requesting me, as the owner of an affected vehicle, to register my car and call a local dealership to replace the recalled part. The issue is, the dealerships here in shreveport/bossier city louisiana do not have the parts and have been waiting for the replacement parts for more than a year and a half!!! That is completely unacceptable. These airbags were recalled on both my husbands truck and my suv. The dealership could not give me an estimated time frame for arrival of the replacement parts.
