Description of the problem | Tl* takata recall. The contact owns a 2010 ford edge. The contact stated that the dealer had been contacted twice because the contact had received two recall notice letters for nhtsa campaign number: 16v384000 (air bags); however they had been unable to determine when the remedy and part may become available. They had placed the contact on a waiting list as third for the part but the contact had not received any part being available after several trips to the dealer. The contact was uncertain as to when the part may become available and when the vehicle may be scheduled for the recall repair which was unacceptable to the contact. The manufacturer was contacted.
