Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2010 ford edge. The contact stated that the trunk did not respond to the key fob. When the key fob was pressed, the trunk opened and closed repeatedly. Once the trunk was closed manually, the interior lighting in the vehicle remained illuminated, which drained the battery. The contact had to take the cables off of the battery at the end of each day to keep the battery from draining. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was repaired. The failure mileage was 91,967. |
