Description of the problem | While drive about 50 miles per hour on the street the wrench light went on then off. I pulled up to a stop light and when i tried to accelerate the car could hardly move. I was only able to limp along until i got to my destination. I shut the car off and when i came back after about 2 hours it started and has been driving fine the last two days, for now. No wrench light no power problems. I've been researching this issue online and have seen numerous other complaints with the same description as mine. A throttle body seems to be at fault. Apparently ford knows of this issue and did not do a recall. Rather they did an extended warranty that ended in 2015. |
