Description of the problem | Hearing a "coins in a can " sound coming from the car as you are driving it. Found out it to be the power transfer unit. In doing some research on this, it looks like there are thousands of people who have complained and reported this same issue. I would like to know why there wasn't a recall created for this issue and replacement as this is a costly $2000 part. Not cost effective for our cars that are older and aren't worth but $5000 maybe. |
