Description of the problem | According to a ford dealership the ptu (power transfer unit) on my edge needs to be replaced. Problem is that ford has known about this for 10 years. This issue affects model years 2007 through 2017. Is there anything that can be done from a recall perspective? I was advised not to drive with this condition. I became aware of the issue while driving around town and on the expressway. Significant vibration, grinding, and higher pitch sound while in motion. |
