Description of the problem | Two days ago began intermittent loss of power brakes. Had to nearly put my foot through the floor to get my vehicle to stop in heavy traffic. Was advised by local mechanic of customer satisfaction program 13n02 which acknowledges brake booster problem in my model year edge. Contacted ford customer service and dealer and was told by both that my vehicle was not included in this repair. Now i am facing a costly mechanic's bill (nearly $1000) for a known and dangerous problem. |
