Description of the problem | Brake booster. Without warning the brake pedal on my vehicle became extremely hard during the middle of my drive. I was in a yield to merge situation where i could not stop my vehicle in the proper amount of time. Luckily i was not involved in an accident. The part on my vehicle needing replaced is the same part under recall for the same manufacturer but my vin number was not included in that recall. I am upset that this problem was previously detected but my vin number was not included on the recall and i had no previous knowledge that this could potentially be a safety hazard for my vehicle. |
