Description of the problem | On 05/01/2013 i entered into a parking lot in a shopping mall, with my right foot on the brake pedal while braking to stop at a 15 or 20 miles per hour, the vehicle suddenly and unintentionally accelerated, the rpms jumped about 2000 more (1500 to 3500 aprox.) and i left the tires prints over the pavement because i put the brake fully pressed while the engine was accelerating without touching the gas pedal. Fortunately there was no crash nor injuries to passengers or pedestrians, but i have noticed that this problem has occurred to several persons around the country, so i ask if this government agency would issue a recall because it is a safety and a high risk situation. Thank you. |
