Description of the problem | Serious issue with daily loss of tire pressure ranging from 3 to 18 lbs, in 2010 ford edge sport with 22' wheels. Tsb from ford indicates they are aware but will not recall/replace wheels. Tsb indicates problem caused by corrosion/dirt on tire bead seat area, preventing proper seal. Vehicle has been returned to dealer 8 times, rims/tires cleaned, bead sealer added every time, valve stems changed, tire slime added every time, mount, rebalance & rotate every time, yet still no resolution. Tire pressure loss occurs within 4 days every time returned from dealer. Currently escalated, through numerous phone calls to ford motor co, and awaiting response. |
