Description of the problem | Door ajar message appeared when door is securely shut, also says shift to park, doors don't lock when they should, dome lights remain on longer than they should, it also bings like when the seat belts aren't fastened, constantly have to push the ok button on steering wheel controls to stop the noise, continues to do this throughout ea time i drive the car. It started at about 45,000 miles, currently have 46,000 miles and it continues ea time the car is started and throughout the entire trip. I do not have the extended warranty and there should be a recall for this issue, the ford dealership told me they have had to replace numerous sensors that is causing this issue. It will cost several hundred dollars for repair, that i don't have to cover this repair. Ford should not be allowed to install defective sensors. My car was purchased new in 2014. |
