Description of the problem | My vehicle lost power. A wrench icon appeared on the dash. I was entering a gas station so the car was in motion and i was able to park. I looked it up and found out it was a throttle body failure.. I had it towed to a ford dealer. I didnt trust to drive it. Ford could not duplicate the issue but the code was retained. P2111. The issue was not covered under the recall which was disappointing. If it's a known issue it shouldnt matter the yr and vin#. It's a dangerous issue. It was covered under my extended warranty luckily and was repaired. |
