Description of the problem | I was driving down i-25 with my spouse doing apprx. 75mph when my sunroof exploded. We are fortunate no one was injured. Glass did fall on my head as i was taking it to the dealership. Ford refuses to cover it under warranty even though the dealership states it exploded from the inside. Ford does not know what caused the problem but just states it is not covered under warranty. If the covering was opened someone would have been seriously injured. This is a huge safety concern and has happened to several vehicles but ford refuses to do a recall. It is going to take someone getting seriously injured before ford recognizes the problem as a manufacturer defect. |
