Description of the problem | While driving the vehicle on the highway between 65 and 75 mph, strong exhaust smell in the cabin, through ac vents. This happens also upon acceleration. This happens on long road trips. This carbon monoxide inside the vehicle. Have taken vehicle to the dealership three times and they are not able to fix the problem. The first time was shortly after purchase of the vehicle. It has happened a total nine times so far. First time we went to dealership, they stated the had just got a technical service bulletin about this issue. No notification to consumers. As everyone knows, no notification to consumers if not a recall. Ford knows about this problem and we feel that they are ignoring the obvious. It's pass due for an investigation. We have started the necessary protocol for a repurchase. We do not want to drive a vehicle that is toxic to our health. |
