Description of the problem | Shortly after purchasing my ford edge, it developed condensation in the tail light compartment. It has progressed into a leak in the tailgate leaving water in the brake light compartment. Since then, the leak has caused my lighting system to quit working which poses a safety threat. This obvious design defect poses a safety threat. Further, i see many other ford edges out on the road with this same defect which poses a safety threat to numerous drivers on the road. Ordinary wear and tear could not account for this problem so soon in the life of the vehicle and very shortly after i purchased it. (certified, pre-owned from the dealership). I am a careful and conscientious owner, as the general condition of the car shows. I have not done anything to the car that would cause this defect. |
