Description of the problem | Our 2015 ford edge was parked in the yard of a non-profit. Apparently something hit the window while a volunteer was mowing. When my husband returned to the parked car, the window looked cloudy, like it had condensation on it, even though it was mid-day. He touched it with his fingertip, and it fell into many tiny pieces down into the driver's seat. According to the company that replaced the window, which is a third party contracted by the local ford dealer, there was no lamination to hold the shards in place. We are fortunate no one was injured, but this incident calls into question the safety of the other windows in the car. |
